Single-axis field-oriented brushless motor controller with onboard magnetic encoder, isolated interfaces and heat-spreader/case mechanical options; a drive, not a motor
Motion & Actuation · Low-voltage single-axis FOC servo drive
ODrive Pro
This record covers the ODrive Pro servo drive with drive-specific fields: DC bus voltage range, cooling-conditioned continuous and peak phase-current ratings, and published interface and encoder-support lists. The official datasheet and the official shop page publish different voltage and continuous-current boundaries; both are recorded and the conflict is left unresolved.

1 bounded physical-evidence record.
Publisher independence, identity precision and measurement scope vary by row. Results remain bounded by the disclosed specimen, setup, workload and metric; an inconclusive mapping is evidence associated with the catalog model, not verification of a manufacturer claim.

| Independent real-system experimentindependent_physical_evidence | Two ODrive Pro controllers operated in static and dynamic actuator testsInstrumented torque, current, bandwidth, backdrive and lifting setup with external torque cells and real-time acquisition. | inconclusiveThe record establishes bounded physical evidence for the named model, but the experiment does not reproduce the catalogued claim metric and conditions; the claim remains inconclusive. | A highly-geared haptic actuator using 3D printed magnetorheological clutches ↗Experimental setup and static/dynamic test sections Checked 2026-08-26 |

Known limits
What this record does not prove.
- The datasheet (15–58 V; 80 A active cooling) and the shop page (12–56 V operation, 58 V max; 70 A continuous with heatsink and fan) publish different boundaries; the conflict is recorded, not resolved.
- Continuous phase current is cooling-conditioned; the 100 A peak is limited to 3 seconds.
- The drive uses ODrive’s own CAN protocol, not CANopen or EtherCAT; no RCI physical test exists.
